We kick off our first News & Updates page by acknowledging two important Trustees.

Charles Schiedegger
After fulfilling his two year term as Board Chairperson, Chuck is now active serving on numerous committees: Audit and Standards, Nominations, Investment and Finance, Human Resources. Previous to Chairing the FCCF Board, Chuck served as Vice-Chairperson and Treasurer.
During his leadership in 2006 and 2007, the Foundation reached $10 million in assets. In those two years, 684 grants, totaling $827,500, were approved for scholarships or community projects.
We would like to extend a sincere appreciation for all the time and dedication Chuck provides for the Foundation. He and his wife, Bonnie, are now enjoying Chuck's recent retirement.

Barbara Stremler
Barbara Stremler stepped down as a Trustee at the beginning of this year. She served on the General Grants Committee, Healthy Senior / Healthy Youth, and several scholarship committees. Barbara is now supporting the Foundation as the newest Emeritus Board member.
Our sincere appreciation is extended to Barbara for her many years of work at the Foundation and for the continued oversight of her late husband's fund, the Dr. Bernard J. Stremler Memorial Fund.
